Photosynth is an emerging image and data processing system being developed by Microsoft Live Labs. It promises to add a multiverse of depth to online and perhaps offline photo research. Think exponential hyperlinks, layered over and around each other through tags and other metadata.

Goodness gracious. Google is jumping into the Instant Messaging and Voice Over IP (VoIP) marketspace with Google Talk. It's in Beta run right now, but being a biiig google fan, I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to try it out.
