Link: http://www.ninjaakasaka.comMy Japan itinerary says that we are having Friday dinner at the Ninja Akasaka, a ninja-themed restaurant with ninjas providing the entertainment. Will they be somersaulting over the tables to serve food? Will they shuriken the heads off the tempura? Will they slice up the Kobe beef with their wakizashi? I'm giddy hahahaha!

With the PMA coming up fast, it's not surprising to see a lot of rumors and leaks floating around teh internets. Aside from the Sony A300 and A350 press release leaks, a Nikon missive announcing the D60 and several new lenses has surfaced.
Highlights:
* Nikon 10.2 megapixel D60 * Nikon 24mm T/S lens * Nikon 60mm f/2.8 lens * Nikon 16-85mm VR lens

Link: http://www.clipaday.com/videos/ridiculous-image-technology-comingCan't embed the video so just follow the link. Photosynth is an emerging image and data processing system being developed by Microsoft Live Labs. It promises to add a multiverse of depth to online and perhaps offline photo research. Think exponential hyperlinks, layered over and around each other through tags and other metadata. The video's "punchline" features a 3D model of the Cathedral of Notre Dame rendered from the aggregate collection of Notre Dame photographs on Flickr. See what happens next. Na-excite na naman ako.

My shelf has mostly travel and photography books, plus a whole section of graphic novels, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

My google talk user name is "didipusrex" in case anyone wants to make prengs.
