Hardware Zone Philippines is the local publisher of HWM, the leading communications, computer and consumer electronics magazine in Southeast Asia. The Hardware Zone organization has offices in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and holds headquarters in Singapore.
We are looking for a Special Projects Copywriter to join our team for two months as we take on several major projects.
Responsibilities:
- Our magazine is looking for someone to join its editorial and creative team as a copywriter for advertorials, custom publications and feature stories. We are looking for someone who can write perfect marketing copy for gadgetry like digital cameras, personal media centers, home theater systems, write confidently about technologies and trends, and contribute wholeheartedly to the projects the company undertakes.
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience copywriting for a publication or advertising agency
- Have a creative mind and eye for marketable concepts and translating geek speak to layman's terms
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Good technical knowledge of the fields of computing and consumer electronics
- Able to work well as both a team player and a team motivator
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media, Creative Writing or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): copywriting, creative writing, research.
- Preferred skill(s): InDesign, layout.
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Libis,Quezon City.
- Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Advertising/Media Planning or equivalent.
- Two month stint, option to extend if both parties happy.
