In 1988 I spent the most part of the year wearing a black hat and lugging around a guitar so I could play U2 songs.

This is by far the best live version of Beautiful Day I've heard so far. Enjoy.

Mother, I was there!! Saw them play this live!!! Of course, I was late and at the wrong gate and they were smaller than ants from where I was. But yeah, I was all teary-eyed when they released 100 doves into the air after the song's bridge. Waaaah, what a perfect moment.

I think you carried a bit of that over to 1989, because I seem to remember one day at AS when you had your guitar with you (but no hat!) and you played "In God's Country" for us. I was so impressed -- intro pa lang! I didn't think anyone else but The Edge could do that. =)
